Self-Service Enterprise Sales

A story about how Pieter Levels successfully automates high-ticket sales for his job board without requiring sales calls.

"I sell job post bundles for like 50k via Stripe, which is amazing to me. You make a page called 'buy bundle' where you can go to remoteokay.com/buy-bundle and you'll see a slider where you can make your own bundle and get a discount based on it. It's all automated - you add your credit cards and then you pay 50k or 40k whatever.

It's about 30% of the revenue from bundles. These company cards have been upgraded - they're using it for much more these days. I never thought this would work. I don't hire people, I don't know how this works, I just tried it. Companies would ask me 'can we buy a few job posts for the future?' so I made this thing and a lot of companies use it.

I get annoyed when I need to use services that require sales calls and contact forms. People on Twitter get annoyed when they can't get a price directly and sign up. I think it's much easier to do it this way, with an automated sales flow."
