DexaFit Quarterly Scanning

A discussion about how Shaan and his brother-in-law use DexaFit scans to track their fitness progress.
"I'm working out right now and my actual weight stays the same because I'm adding muscle and losing fat. I want my score to show the progress. My trainer says 'dude, do you need this? You just look in the mirror, it's fine.' And I'm like, yeah that's true, but I like the science of it too.
It's $45 to go get a Dexa scan, and so me and my brother-in-law made a habit out of it. We're going to get scanned every 3 months - that's how we measure our progress. When we're down 3% body fat, we're motivated to do it again.
The company we use is called BodySpec. They operate out of Mercedes Sprinters with car wraps, and they partner with gyms and trainers. They have a built-in referral system where they tell partners 'you send us a client, you get $20 out of the $50 scan for every first-time customer.'"
