Noah Disliked Sam

Noah tells a story about how he initially disliked Sam Parr and how their relationship evolved.

"I didn't like you for a long time. Sometimes when people hang out with Sam, he's like 'how much money are you making doing this one thing?' It's like someone asking how big is your penis - you're like 'dude, I don't know you' and you're asking a really personal, aggressive question. It's almost to the level of transactional that's just too much versus what you'd expect from a friend.

In our first experience, you wanted me to come speak at the Hustle conference. You wrote a blog post for me, but I didn't publish it. There were just weird vibes I was getting from you, so it didn't make me excited to want to do anything. Then you sent me like a Nutribullet or some kind of item, and I was just like 'this guy weirds me out.'

But over the years, I've started to appreciate your quirkiness. One thing I've appreciated about you is how persevering you are. There's so many people I think are going to quit soon, but the Hustle wouldn't be anything without effort. You just kept going and won't stop."
