A story about how Kaitlyn (Amaranth) strategically used business metrics to regain reach after losing her 5-million follower Instagram account.

"My Instagram that had over 5 million followers got banned from mass reports, and I needed a way for people to still write about me because that was my biggest reach. Everything else was not nearly as much reach.

So I started writing about the business stuff, knowing that people would write about it. If it comes from a pretty girl talking about business, suddenly 'oh she's a genius,' but if it's a guy saying the same thing, no one would care.

It was like a new form of earned media. Other people started re-aggregating the story, which drove new subscribers."
