Shaan tells a story about how they found an unexpected superstar ad salesperson for Milk Road through Twitter.
"We found this guy - I think his name is Volter and he's from the Netherlands. I did this video when Luna collapsed about losing money on Luna. This kid on Twitter messages me saying 'your thumbnail sucks' and gives suggestions for improvement. I liked what he did so I invited him to our Slack.
At first, we didn't know what to do with him. For 2 months no one knew why he was there. But then we needed to sell ads and nobody wanted to do it. This guy had been constantly messaging us ideas, to the point where Ben was getting frustrated with the volume of messages.
Instead of kicking him out, we decided to redirect his energy towards ad sales. This guy is now single-handedly crushing Milk Road ad sales through the crypto bear market. We are fully sold out for months on end, with this one kid who's not even 20 years old just absolutely pillaging the market.
The advertisers will privately DM me saying 'I shared this guy's name with our sales team because this is how you sell - this guy is relentless.' It was just an incredible thing, he is so impressive."
