Goggins Marathon Discovery
Share
A story about how Jesse Itzler discovered David Goggins and wrote the book that helped make Goggins famous.
"In the book 'Living with Seal', I don't even think he mentions David's name. Then it came out who this person was. Jesse was at a marathon and he saw this guy - David Goggins, who everyone knows is like a 6 foot 6 black dude who's ripped. That's not typically what an ultra marathon runner looks like.
He became friends with him and hired him. The book was basically the book that got David Goggins to be famous. Jesse had him live with him for 30 days and wrote about it. It was awesome, it was a good book."
