Shaan tells a story about a touching interaction with a mother and daughter who traveled from Michigan to Austin for their live show.
"I met this Mexican lady who moved from Mexico City to Ann Arbor, and she flew down from Michigan with her 12-year-old daughter. I asked the daughter what she liked about the show because she was quite shy in the moment. She said 'I just like that it's fun, it gets me laughing, and I learn different things. It makes me want to go do stuff.'
The mom thanked us for the podcast because it's the only podcast they can listen to together that they both enjoy, so it's become their thing they do together. That was one of my golden nugget moment takeaways from the whole thing."
