Deal Aggregation Revenue Model
Share
A Chrome extension that pays users to visit websites, essentially unbundling the Facebook ad system into direct user compensation for their attention.
Core Concept
- Chrome extension shows users bounties they can earn by visiting specific websites
- Websites pay users directly for their traffic/attention (e.g. $0.30 for ESPN, $1 for an e-commerce site)
- Users must stay on site for 30-60 seconds to earn the bounty
- Money accumulates in a browser-based "piggy bank"
How It Works
- Brands buy traffic through the extension
- Users get paid for visiting sites without obligation to purchase
- Extension tracks user behavior to determine value scoring
- Sites bid different amounts based on user value scores
Smart Targeting
- Extension monitors:
- User spending habits
- Browsing patterns
- Sites visited
- Creates individual "value scores" for each user
- Higher value users (frequent shoppers) receive higher bounty offers
- Lower value users (information browsers) receive lower bounty offers
Revenue Model
- Sites pay based on known visitor value (e.g. $3-5 per qualified visitor)
- Platform takes a cut of each bounty paid
- Users receive direct payment for their attention
