Chinese-Made Ghana Souvenirs

Sam shares a story about his sister's experience buying what she thought was a locally-made souvenir in Ghana.

"My sister one time went to Ghana for some trip and she came back with a souvenir that she bought from some kids on the street, thinking they made it. When she looked at it later, it said 'made in China' on the back."

Sam uses this story to draw a parallel to how some vendors at local farmer's markets might be misrepresenting their products as locally sourced when they're not.
