Shaan shares a story about a company he invested in that uses AI robots to handle insurance verification calls.
"One of the companies I invested in is called Infinitus. They noticed doctors spend so much time in their back office trying to do billing with insurance. When a patient gives you information, you have to call the insurance company to verify the name, number, and get reference codes for treatments.
Most entrepreneurs tried to eliminate this system completely, but these guys did something way smarter - they made a robot that calls their robot. They created a robot that will call the insurance provider's robot. When the insurance provider says 'please enter the patient's identification number,' their robot goes '924336.' When it says 'thank you for your patience,' and 'please say if you want number 1,' their robot has infinite patience to do the whole call by itself.
It saves doctors a ton of time and they're doing really really well."
