Kardashian Crypto Dinner
Share
A story about how Nader, a crypto founder, found himself at a high-profile dinner in LA with celebrities and tech leaders.
"I went to a dinner in LA and there were a lot of famous people there. There were billionaire tech CEOs and also the biggest celebrities - including Kim Kardashian, who was previously a closet organizer. I got to explain our vision to all these people, which was really awesome.
What's funny about it is I was really into Bitcoin in college back in 2013. I built a miner, I even met Mark Karpeles who was the CEO of Mt. Gox - my friend and I went to Japan and randomly tweeted him and he invited us to his office. When Bitcoin crashed, I thought I'd go do my hedge fund thing. But if you told college Nader that this is what he'd be doing - hanging out in LA at mansion dinners with Kim Kardashian - I think he'd be like 'yeah that's awesome.' Though maybe not the Kim Kardashian part specifically."
