Leno Rejects Ferrari Rules

Sam Parr shares a story about Jay Leno's principled stance against buying Ferraris.
"Jay Leno has this thing called Jay Leno's Garage where he tells you the history of cars. He probably has 500 or 1000 cars, all historical and important. Someone asked him 'Why aren't there any Ferraris here?' He said 'I refuse to buy a Ferrari.'
They asked why, and he explained that you have to get on a wait list, and you have to get on a wait list to buy one in order to buy the next one. For example, to buy something like a GTO 250, which is like a $30,000,000 car they only made 5 of, they make you buy the entry level one first, then you have to get on a waiting list to buy the next one, and you can't sell it - you have to follow all these rules.
He said 'I refuse to bow down to that bullshit and I'm not gonna play that game.' He acknowledges he's not the everyman, but he just doesn't want to jump through hoops. He just wants to say 'If I'm willing to give you money, please let me have it.' So he refuses to buy a Ferrari for that reason."
