Strongland Publishing Success Story
Share
Sam Parr shares a case study about an anonymous Indian financial planner who built a million-dollar publishing business through Twitter and Gumroad.
"I found this thing called Strongland Publishing. His main thing is called Life Math Money. This guy owns maybe half a dozen to a dozen different Twitter handles. One is called 'The 48 Laws of Power Bot' or 'Quote Bot' with maybe 200-300,000 followers. Another one is called 'The Book of Pook' which quotes this pickup artist from the early 2000s.
He owns several Twitter handles focused on men, covering topics like getting laid, meeting girls, making money, and getting fit. He has this circular system where he retweets each account and each handle links to a Gumroad page selling documents. The 48 Laws of Power one sells guides on getting more power and influence at your job for $89. He sells workout plans, pickup lines, healthy eating guides.
Looking at his Gumroad sales, his 'Live Intentionally' program has 9,506 sales at $89, and his Twitter course has 5,400 sales at $179. He's doing between $500,000 to $1 million a year in sales just off these Gumroad products.
The funny part is, he's anonymous and goes by 'Harsh Strongman.' His blog is LifeMathMoney.com, and he describes himself as a certified financial planner in India. He's just killing it using some free website builder and Gumroad."
