Manila's $100M Cash Discovery
Share
A story about an employee discovering a massive cash stash in Paul Le Roux's Manila apartment during his illegal online pharmacy operation.
"One employee went to his apartment in Manila in the Philippines, and he said that he saw $100 million in cash in the house. This guy didn't want the IRS to see anything, so he would just transfer it into gold because this was before Bitcoin was really around.
The operation itself made $400 million in profit in 4 years. He had about 2-3,000 employees working at this place, mostly Filipinos working in call centers in the Philippines and in Israel, because he saw the Israeli guys were the hardest working for the cheapest rate."
