Steph Smith shares a personal experience about having her identity impersonated on BitCloud.

"I was actually one of the people that was not part of the original 15k, but someone decided to create an account and impersonated me. They took my stuff, bio handle, put my picture in, and used the same bio from my Twitter. I was confused how this could be, but it turns out anyone can just create an account today.

I emailed BitCloud and to their credit, they took it down. However, they took it down without verifying who I was, so someone could have done that to another person's account as well. There was about a thousand dollars worth of BitCloud, at least in theory, within this coin, and we don't even know what happened to it.

We haven't seen what happens to these systems because we're only in this exciting growth stage. It's literally geared where it can only grow - there's no backdoor, there's nothing that can happen today that would be negative."
