Musk's Print Code Policy

A story about one of Elon Musk's first unusual requests after taking over Twitter.

"He told every engineer to print out all the code that they've written in the last 3 or 6 months and have it ready for review. Then they changed their mind - I guess they realized how bad of an idea that was and like an hour later they're like 'shred the papers, actually we're gonna review on the computer, just be prepared to review.'

So all these engineers printed out like 300 pages of code just to be told to shred it. It was one of the first examples of how quickly things were changing under the new leadership."
