Adam Neumann Validates Rumor

Sam Parr shares a story about getting validation for his investment in Rumor, a real estate auction platform.

"I invested in Rumor, and then I get a call from Jordan who tells me Adam Neumann just put $2 million in. I thought that was a pretty good sign.

Regardless of what Adam did at WeWork - let's say he did bad stuff, let's say he was unethical - he still built something huge and amazing in a very short amount of time. He has access to all types of deals and sees all types of opportunities. So if he's interested enough to invest, I think that's meaningful validation.

The company will need to raise a ton of money, but when I did the math, you don't need that much volume to build something quite large. Once you have homes on there, you can upsell things like property assessments and inspections. I just thought it was an interesting opportunity."
