Facebook's Excessive Amenities

Sam Parr shares a story about the excessive amenities he witnessed at Facebook's campus.

"I went to the Facebook campus once and it's basically like a mall but everything's free. I wrote an article about this actually. They had a vending machine, but instead of candy bars, it was computers. You could get a computer or MacBook charger if you just pushed D3.

They had everything there - a dentist, a barber, and I swear to God they had a wood making shop. You could leave your car and your oil would get changed when you came back from work. I remember seeing all this stuff and thought 'Oh this is it, we made it.' Then I realized the tenure at Facebook is like 18 months, so I realized this isn't actually all that good."
