24-Hour Studio Execution

A story about how Sam Parr's intense execution style helped transform an idea for a podcast studio into reality within 24 hours.
"We wanted to build our podcast studio and it got to that dangerous place where you have an idea but you're not closing - you're just somewhere in the middle. This is where dreams go to die.
In a 24-hour period, Sam blew up my phone, DMing me pictures of every other podcaster's setup, asking 'How about this, this, this? Just tell me of these 3 which one you want?' I said 'Number 2' and immediately he found the chair on Amazon.
Then he said 'Let's drive to these 3 places and pick it up today.' He picked me up and we drove to IKEA, another furniture spot, then a bootleg spot in Oakland. At another store, the sales lady recognized our intensity and approached us. Sam told her exactly what he wanted - a red chair that would pop in the thumbnail.
Meanwhile, he hired someone to paint the wall over the weekend. We started on Friday, and by Monday the studio was done. This level of intensity is something I've observed in many successful people - this massive action - and it's contagious to the people around you."
