Sam and Shaan discuss a concerning trend where people are being asked to sign DocuSign documents without seeing what they're signing.
Sam: "I've been getting DocuSigns lately where they literally just send me the sign page and don't even send me the document. It's called the 'signature package.' I got it in the context of a company I invested in - they needed me to sign paperwork because they're raising at a new valuation. They literally just send me the signature packet with 4 or 6 things, and it just says 'Sam Parr' and then a line for signing. I have no idea what I'm signing. Sometimes they don't even send me the stuff to read, they just send me a page to sign."
Shaan: "I've been getting those too. It's one thing if I'm not going to read it, but for you to not even write it - that's a whole other level of arrogance and poor form that we're taking."
The conversation highlights how both hosts admit to signing documents without reading them, but are concerned about the new practice of not even receiving the documents to potentially read.
