South Park's Innovation Evolution

A story about how the South Park creators have consistently innovated across different mediums and built massive success.

"The South Park guys are just crushing it. They did South Park where they produce episodes in 7 days to stay super topical, while other shows can't because they film over a longer period of time. Then they did Book of Mormon and crushed it on Broadway. Now they're doing this deep fake technology company called Deep Voodoo.

They raised $20 million for Deep Voodoo after they had a movie suspended due to COVID. Instead of letting it fail, they spun out the technology as its own company. They're using deep fake tech to make visual effects cheaper for Hollywood. You can see their work in the Kendrick Lamar video where his face morphs into different celebrities perfectly.

They just signed a $900 million deal with Viacom CBS in August 2021. Their Broadway play Book of Mormon has grossed $500 million in revenue. The worst thing they've ever done was go to an award ceremony on LSD wearing J.Lo's iconic green dress. These guys are prolific - they've been doing this for decades and have never really had a blemish. They're just friends who keep innovating and crushing it."
