A story about how Shaan prepares mentally before teaching his online course by visualizing success.
"I teach a course where people pay $1,000 per person to get into this course on Zoom. I need to make this thing lit - it can't feel like a boring meeting. I don't worry about what words I'm going to say. Instead, I think about how I want this to end and how I want this to feel.
What I always do is imagine the chat in a Zoom chat flooding with comments. People saying 'this was a 12 out of 10,' 'oh my god so many nuggets of gold,' 'so glad I came.' I imagine the volume of chat just flying through the screen with positive feedback.
That gets me in a certain type of mood and gives me the confidence to operate naturally. The right words happen to come out of my mouth because I'm operating from the right state of mind."
