A story about a real estate broker who built a successful TikTok following by showcasing bizarre apartment listings.
"There's a woman on TikTok who's a real estate broker or leasing broker. She shows hilariously bad apartments. She'll walk into a place and be like 'Alright, this apartment, this condo is exquisite' and then she'll say 'How many bedrooms is it?' There's no bedrooms - there's just this loft. Actually, it's not a loft, it's just this area above the kitchen where there's a pipe above your head with like 3 inches to go to sleep up there if you can climb up.
She'll say things like 'Oh, you like the soothing sounds of water? Well, the toilet keeps running so you'll have that zen vibe.' She's making fun of how overpriced apartments in New York are and how little you get for how much you pay.
Instead of just doing the literal thing which is 'hey guys here's a great apartment', she finds hilariously bad deals and makes that her TikTok content. She has 37,000 followers and gets over 100,000 views on some videos. Then she says if you want an actual apartment, come to me - she has her real listings on Compass.com."
