Gym Launch License Success
Share
Alex Hormozi shares the rapid growth story of his Gym Launch business after pivoting to a licensing model.
"We did $6.8 million year one, which was a hybrid between doing gym rescue and transitioning to the licensing model. Halfway through year one, I realized this model wasn't working, so we flipped it. That's when we shot out like a gun.
The first month we did $120K, next month about $200K, then $360K, then $480K, then $780K, then $1 million, then $1.2M, $1.5M - that was literally the next 6 months. That carried us into the second year of business.
Year one we did $6.8M with $3M in EBITDA. Second year we did $25.9M with $17M in EBITDA. Year three we did $37M top line with $13.4M in EBITDA. At this point, I heard I could sell this for about $100M, so I was excited about that possibility. Then there was this flu that went around - though it didn't actually affect the gym space."
