"I've stood up a YouTube channel and got 25,000 subs in 6 months. I just shoot one continuous shot - I don't even edit it. I just do one continuous shot even if I sneeze or something, I just keep going because I don't have enough time to spend in post-production and doing cuts.
It's all about 'will my audience engage with the content?' It's an MVP. If people like it, then you go spend time, you pay for an editor or something to help out. I don't have time to do extensive video content like some others do.
It's been an incredible journey going down this rabbit hole. For monetization, you've got different ways - tipping on Twitch, tipping on Twitter now, subscription products, and swag."
