Red Swoosh's $20M Exit

Sam Parr shares a story about Travis Kalanick's lesser-known company before Uber.
"Travis Kalanick before he started Uber had this thing called Red Swoosh. It was a peer-to-peer service, kind of like Napster but different. He sold it for $20 million but it took like 8 years to get there - crazy long time.
I found this amazing YouTube video of him giving a 40-minute talk where the first 3 minutes is about Red Swoosh. He explains how hard it was. I've got like 8 or 9 clips saved of people I admire saying how long things actually took, and this is one of them."
Note: The story is part of Sam's broader discussion about patience and how great achievements often take longer than expected.
