3000 Handwritten Letters Campaign

Jesse Itzler shares a story about how he used handwritten letters as a marketing strategy when he was starting out.

"When I was 23 years old and had no money and was sleeping on 18 different couches, my entire marketing strategy was I wrote 10 handwritten letters a day. I wrote 3,000 letters, I'm not even kidding. I still do that to this day because it breaks through the clutter - people remember it.

People read their mail. They might not read their DMs, texts, Slack, and all that stuff, but they read their letters that come in the mail. There's a different intention when I took the time, wrote it, licked the envelope, went to the mailbox, put a stamp on it, put it in there. It comes with a lot of love - it's a lot different than hitting send on an email."
