Agency Owner Becomes Creator

A success story about Jack Butcher, who transformed from a struggling agency owner to a successful digital creator.

"Jack used to live in New York City with his wife. He's British, came here 10 years ago. They shared a 400 square foot studio apartment. They were trying to start an agency business, but it didn't go well. They were down to their last dollar about 18 months ago.

He pivoted by focusing on what he was good at - making pitch decks and slides. That's where the Visualize Value brand came from. He would take concepts and bring them to life visually, creating graphics with a distinct black and white style - black background, white text, and minimalistic charts or drawings.

He started by taking Naval's popular tweets and creating graphics from them. His Twitter following grew to 100,000 people. He created a course and a paid community for people who wanted to learn this skill.

Now he does north of a million dollars a year in revenue, with minimal expenses - just some small software costs and paying himself and his wife. He's since expanded into NFTs, selling his digital art for significant amounts - his first NFT sold for about $2-3,000, and another one later sold for 33 ETH, which was around $70,000.

The transformation happened because he identified what he was good at within his agency work and turned it into its own brand and business."
