A story about how Sam Parr demonstrated intense, immediate execution by building a podcast studio in one day.
"I'll give you an example of different levels of intensity. We were talking about making our own podcast studio. Most people would nod and slowly push things forward - asking about budgets, making plans. But Sam was different.
He called me and said 'What are you doing right now?' I said I was on the phone with him. He says 'Cool, what are you gonna do right after this? You ready to go? I'll pick you up.' I had to scramble to find a babysitter, but an hour later I'm in the car with him driving to IKEA.
Sam walks in and goes straight to the IKEA guy: 'We need an awesome studio couch' and pulls out $500 in cash asking where to spend it. By the next day, we had these two red couches that would pop in YouTube thumbnails. He had the accounting person paint the room, coordinated everything else, and suddenly the world just bent to his will.
The whole studio came together in two weeks, going from nothing to fully functioning, because Sam took it to that intense level of immediate execution."
