Shaan shares a story about his friend Hubert attending a VR conference when VR wasn't popular.
"Our buddy Hubert went to a VR conference that was basically crickets. He wears a t-shirt, all black, that just says 'I invest in VR' huge on the front. He's like, 'Dude, it was like being the only girl at a prom or something.' Everybody was interested in him because he's the only guy left investing in VR.
He said it's actually kind of working. If you look at the top 15 apps in the Oculus store, these three guys over there own three of the top 15. They're printing money right now. It's not the hot thing right now, but if you can make $10 million as a small team building these apps, and you're on the front line of this technology and you're the only people specializing in it, good things are going to happen."
