NAD Supplements TikTok Success

Robert Oliver shares the success story of Roost Research, a supplement brand founded by a young entrepreneur.

"One that I think we could start with is this company Roost Research. This guy had a little Amazon experience, he's 27, and this is like a nine-figure play. He reaches out to me two and a half years ago before TikTok's even taking off, and he's like, 'Hey, I'm thinking about starting a supplement brand on Amazon.' He picked the right category - longevity is getting bigger. He gets on Amazon, he's doing alright, and then TikTok comes around and he pours all in on it.

Two years later, I believe this month, he'll do north of like $15 million between all online this month. It's NAD, Roost Research. Every couple years a new supplement category comes along where this might have long-term staying power. Collagen was the last huge one - $4 billion exit, Vital Proteins to Nestle. And he's betting on that. He went all in, all bootstrapped, no raised money. He hasn't even revamped the brand yet. If you go look at it, you're like, 'This doesn't look like a multi-hundred million dollar thing,' but that's what he's building."
