Hawaii Hurricane Panic Buying

Shaan shares a story about unexpectedly encountering a hurricane during his honeymoon in Hawaii.

"I was in Hawaii for our honeymoon when there was a hurricane. We went to the hotel and they told us they had early check-in available. At first, we thought it was because we were honeymooners, but they said 'No, we just have a lot of open rooms.' I asked what was going on, and they said 'Have you seen the weather report? There's a hurricane this week.'

I had booked my honeymoon during a hurricane week because I didn't check the weather. When we went to the grocery store, it was like a zombie attack had happened. All the water bottles were gone, the shelves were empty, and people were checking out with four carts worth of stuff. It was a really odd, eerie feeling when that happens."
