A story about viral naming contests, particularly one from the Minnesota Department of Transportation and a famous boat naming incident.

Ben Wilson shares: "The Minnesota Department of Transportation ran a snowplow naming contest. They got a new snowplow they needed a name and they crowdsourced it to the public. Here's some of the top vote getters: Euro Blizzard, Harry Blizzo, Cleor-apatha, Better Call Salt, and Hans Snolo."

Sam Parr then adds: "Remember when they did Boaty McBoatface? I think it was either a ferry or a tugboat - a town let people vote on it and Reddit got ahold of it. They made the number one voted thing 'Boaty McBoatface.' I love these viral stunts, I think they're awesome."
