L2 $158M Exit

Scott Galloway shares the story of his biggest financial win - selling L2 in 2017.
"The big win was probably selling L2. That was when I thought 'oh wow, I can buy a plane.' That was not in my reach before. That was when all the moons aligned.
It sold for $158 million, but we'd only done one round of venture capital. The common shareholders - between me and the top 6 employees - we probably owned 70% of it. That was a lot of money for me, I'd never had that kind of capital before.
I'd always done well but never had that kind of money. Getting to invest that in the midst of a bull market when we sold in 2017... I've actually made more money investing than I've made from my businesses. But that L2 exit was the big one that changed things."
