Sam's Body Measurement Photo
Share
Sam tells a story about his unconventional solution to finding clothes that fit properly when shopping online.
"Let me ask you a question - what is the reason why you don't shop online more? I love buying stuff online. The problem is your boy's got big old thighs, and finding clothes that fit is quite challenging.
So here's what I did. I went to a bunch of websites and found the most common measurements that they ask. I created this photo where I actually just measured all parts of my body that are common - thigh, knee, calf, and then my sleeve length, whatever.
For a long time, if I was going to buy clothing from a high-end store, I would actually send this to them. Occasionally I would say, 'Just send me the right stuff.'
And it was incredibly effective. They're like, 'I suggest that you buy this.' I'm telling you, it's weird, but it's been very effective. Very strange, but it's been effective.
For a long time I would keep this in my Google Drive and I would use it as reference when I would go and buy certain clothing."
