Gebbia Believes Aliens Exist

Sam Parr shares a story about Joe Gebbia, Airbnb co-founder, and his belief in aliens.
"We were with Joe Gebbia recently, who's like the ninetieth richest person in the world, and I was like, 'Joe, look, you're worth like $10 billion. If there's Illuminati, you are either in it or you're friends with the people in it. Tell me one thing that you guys talk about.'
And he looked at me and goes, 'Aliens are real.' He went on a big diatribe on his passion for UFOs and aliens and how he absolutely is on board with them. He came off very passionately, like it is absolutely a thing."
Shaan adds context that Joe Gebbia isn't someone who says wild things without reason: "The funny thing is if you meet Joe, he's a serious dude. Joe doesn't just say wild shit for wild shit's sake. Joe is not like a kooky billionaire. Joe is like an extremely principled artist, a very serious individual. So for him to say something like that, you don't discount it with the same discount rate you would if John McAfee was the guy saying it."
