Claude's $100k Tax Strategy

Andrew Wilkinson shares how he used AI to save $100,000 in taxes by analyzing his company structure.

"I exported all my data from Xero accounting software - I have like 200-300 random investments and all sorts of weird assets in there. It's like a rat's nest. I exported it all as a CSV, trained a Claude project on it, and started asking it questions.

I asked it to look at my structure and tell me if there were any ways I could save on tax. It was crazy - I actually saved $100,000 a year in cash taxes just by moving an investment from one holding company to another, thanks to Claude.

It's very quickly becoming a tax advisor and investment analyst. I can get it to write deals, draft legal documents. It's getting so good that I don't hire people anymore. These are roles I previously would have hired for - either I didn't renew someone's contract or I didn't make a new hire because of this."
