MudWTR's Amazon Product Mix
Share
A story about how MudWTR's founder created a successful coffee alternative company.
"This guy was at an agency, just a regular day job. What's fascinating was he identified a problem and looked at a big category - coffee is one of the biggest categories in the world. He created his own version by literally buying products off Amazon and mixing them together.
He found one product line, did great branding, and went hard on that. Last we heard it was $60 million in revenue. It's basically Indian chai tea. I think everyone should get a day job or get some basic income first, but what's fascinating is he found a problem he had, identified a massive category, and figured out an angle against the coffee industry.
What's really interesting is that he focused on just one thing - while a lot of us get excited to have 18 business ideas, he and others like Apple are making significant money just with one product."
