Driver Parking Intel

Sam Parr tells a story about getting insider information from drivers at a high-end party in the Hamptons.
"I went to this beach that was 5 doors down from Michael Rubin's house. It's a public beach with a parking lot. We drove by and saw Henry Kravis, the founder of KKR - $50 billion guy, pull up in his $2 million Bugatti.
In the parking lot, I see all these huge black Escalades. I see these drivers in suits playing soccer and eating sandwiches and drinking soda. I walk over and ask 'What is this?' They tell me they're driving for Michael Rubin's party.
Being curious, I ask them who they're driving and they actually tell me. Then I start asking what their clients are really like - are they good tippers, what's their deal? The drivers start spilling the beans, saying things like 'Oh this person's actually broke' or 'He always haggles with us over $500.'
So I just hung out at the parking lot of Michael Rubin's party, getting all the inside intel from the drivers while they played soccer and drank Coke. It was like a movie a little bit - just these Long Island guys hanging out saying 'Hey, what are you doing?'"
