Grammarly's $100M Revenue

A story about Sam Parr meeting Grammarly's founder Max at Hustlecon and learning about their impressive revenue numbers.

"The Grammarly founder spoke at Hustlecon. He's an engineer, a very by-the-book straight shooter. I was chatting with him and said 'A freaking plugin, who would have thought?' He had this funny grin on his face.

I asked him how big they were and he said they do over $100 million a year in sales. I asked if he would ever believe it, and he said 'Yeah, I thought it could be done.'

Then I mentioned he just raised money and he said 'Yeah we raised $100 million the other day.' I asked why and he said 'Because it was at a north of a billion dollar valuation.' I was just like 'Oh my god, you pulled it off.'"
