Focus On 3% Implementers
Share
A teaching philosophy focused on exclusively targeting highly motivated learners who will actually implement teachings, rather than trying to reach everyone.
Core Philosophy
- Only 3% of people truly want to learn and take action
- Of that 3%, only 20% will actually implement the teachings
- Intentionally aims to be "out of touch" with the general population
- Focuses energy exclusively on teaching the driven and capable
Why Most People Don't Succeed
- Most people want the same things (wealth, fitness, relationships)
- However, most achieve the opposite of what they want:
- Most marriages end in divorce
- Most Americans are overweight/obese
- Most have minimal savings
- Following what most people do leads to getting what most people get
- Most people are "horrible students" who won't:
- Actually want to learn
- Take action on teachings
- Implement what they learn
Strategic Approach
- Intentionally avoids:
- Trying to teach everyone
- Following the news
- Speaking to the common denominator
- Focuses exclusively on the small percentage who:
- Really want answers
- Are capable of taking action
- Are highly motivated to learn
- Accepts that this approach may seem:
- Socially unacceptable
- Out of touch
- Elitist to some
- Maintains conviction that this targeted approach is most effective
Key Principles
- Quality over quantity in audience targeting
- Results matter more than broad appeal
- Being "out of touch" can be strategic advantage
- Focus on controllable factors
- Accept that most won't agree with or follow this philosophy
