"I stayed up all night reading the Ethereum white paper. I came into work excited and was like 'Where's Shaan? I need to talk to him!' I was trying to explain it to you, probably throwing a bunch of technical words around.

But Shaan just looked at me and said 'Can we do some real work? Ethereum? That name's never gonna work. That sounds so nerdy, that will never be a thing.'

Looking back now, Shaan admits it was a major miss, saying 'Chalk that up for another L for me.' But at the time, he completely wrote it off while I was buying into the presale."
