Voice-Only Listener Connection
Share
A story about how podcast listeners can recognize hosts just by their voice, demonstrating the intimate connection podcasting creates.
"Yesterday I went to Lululemon and I had to give her my email. My email is my name, and I told her my name. She looked up and goes 'Wait... For My First Million?' I was like 'Yeah, what's going on?' She goes 'I thought I recognized your voice.'
That happens all the time, and that's one of my biggest surprises - that we get recognized on such a small audience. We only reach 1-3 million people a month out of 350 million people in America, but in top ten cities from New York down to Denver, I get recognized maybe once a day. I probably get recognized 5 times a week, and the people are pumped, they're excited."
