Problem Statement Angle
- Start with a shocking statistic or attention-grabbing fact
- Make the problem relatable and easy to understand
- Show why the current solution is outdated or insufficient
-
Solution Comparison Angle
- Compare your solution to an existing well-known product/service
- Example: "We're taking the Amazon Go checkout and making it available to any store"
- Makes complex solutions immediately understandable
-
Founder Story Angle
- Lead with impressive founder credentials/achievements
- Example: "I'm a sophomore who sold $2M of product last year"
- Creates immediate credibility and interest
