"The subreddit went viral after a warehouse worker posted a screenshot of a text that they sent their boss. That post inspired other workers to do the same, and it became part of the Great Resignation movement.
After that, they took a mod from r/antiwork and put them on Fox News. The person got destroyed on air - it was embarrassing. The subreddit didn't like it because they felt it was a horrible representation that didn't articulate their points well. They had rules about not doing media appearances unless they agreed on the message first, but this person went rogue and basically embarrassed themselves. That was kind of the end of their momentum."
