Ghost Town Living Stake

Sam Parr shares how he made a small investment in the YouTube channel Ghost Town Living primarily for relationship building.

"I invested in Ghost Town Living - it's me, Ryan, Nathan Barry, and like 3-4 other guys. I gave them $25k so I think I own less than 1% of it.

It was an emotional investment. My justification was it included me, Ryan, Brent (the guy on there), my friend Brendan, Nathan Barry, and only 3 other entrepreneurs - so 7 of us total. I figured if I can somehow get invited to things there or get to talk to them, I can make that money back just off these relationships or just for a cool story.

I did the whole deal without seeing any documents, just talking to Nathan. Nathan Barry wrote me a text saying 'there's a little bit of room if you want to join this, here's the pros and cons, here's why I did it.' I just said 'okay cool, I'm in' because he was in and I trust him. It was that simple."
