Stanford Housing Hack
Share
A story about how Stanford founders found a clever way to get free housing while building their startup.
From Michael Yan, co-founder of Simplify:
"Actually we've all dropped out, but recently Ethan and I came back to live on campus because we both are on near full scholarships at Stanford. So we basically get free housing here. We take a couple classes, get free housing - it's a great gig. But we've been full time on this for the last year and a half, and Rashil lives in San Francisco."
The story illustrates how the founders found a way to reduce living costs in expensive Silicon Valley by leveraging their scholarships while still focusing primarily on their startup.
