Year-End Life Audit

Jesse Itzler shares his 25+ year process for ending the year strong and setting up for success. The system focuses on personal inventory and intentional planning.

December Year-End Review Process

  • Take inventory and review the year like a business

    • What worked
    • What didn't work
    • Give yourself a grade
    • Review all life categories
  • Get "light" before the new year

    • Write handwritten thank you letters (10 letters minimum)
    • Cannot outsource this - must be personal
    • Keep letters received in yearly box for records
    • 2-hour investment with high ROI

Life Satisfaction Audit ("The Blender Exercise")

  • Put all life categories in an imaginary blender:

    • Finances
    • Health
    • Weight
    • Relationships
    • Location/Living situation
    • Work
    • All other life aspects
  • Rate overall satisfaction 1-10

    • 10 = Ultimate happiness
    • 1 = Rock bottom
    • Your brain immediately identifies what's holding you back from a 10
    • The 2-3 things bothering you become crystal clear

Action Steps

  • Identify the specific areas pulling down your score
  • These issues won't fix themselves - must actively work on them
  • Focus improvement efforts on the clear problem areas
  • Take control early rather than playing catch up
  • Address issues even if other areas (like finances) are strong

The goal is to be proactive about improvement rather than reactive, focusing energy on the specific areas holding you back from peak satisfaction.
