Galloway's Speaking Fees
Share
A story about Scott Galloway's incredible speaking fee earnings, as reported in the New York Times.
"The New York Times reported that Scott Galloway, who was already wealthy from selling two companies and taking a third public, makes more than $5 million a year from speaking gigs. He gets this largely from corporations and industry groups that pay him $50,000 for a virtual event and $250,000 for an international event.
'I should be broken up,' he joked.
He's not just a guy - he's great and hilarious. When I was in Germany, he spoke and was very good. I've hung out with him, he's really nice. His shtick online - I don't always agree with his takes, but without a doubt he's incredibly entertaining when he does talks. He's got a comedy shtick, he's kind of a little F-you and says hilarious jokes about being old and bald. $5 million a year from speaking is astronomical - it's like the equivalent of having $50 million."
