DeFi Creates Crypto Millionaire

A story about how Shaan's friend went from an average job to making millions through crypto investments.
"I have a friend who used to work with me who went from an average job - you wouldn't look at this person and say 'oh that's a star career' - to personally making $15 million in the last year.
They quit their job and went down a crypto rabbit hole, starting to bet on things in DeFi and playing with DeFi projects. They didn't have a huge base of capital - about half a million dollars that they put in. This person was non-technical, never was a trader or financial person - they would just own index funds or mutual funds before that, didn't even know how to spell blockchain.
What's amazing is they had no path in their career to being a decamillionaire. They had a normal job at a company that paid a good salary, and that was that. They simply took their money out of the stock market and instead of investing in Apple, Google, and Facebook, they invested in crypto.
They could cash out everything right now if they wanted to - everything's liquid. If they wanted to say 'I'm done, I'm going to Malibu and pretend this year never existed,' they could do that."
